This app is used for AI cloud certification learning related to AWS AI Practitioner (AIF-C01), and provides website account registration and purchase features.

2. Data we collect

• Account: email, password hash (plaintext passwords are never stored), user ID
• Purchase: App Store / Google Play receipt or transaction identifier; or the ECPay order number and payment result for website purchases
• Trial: a random identifier (UUID) generated by the app on first launch and stored locally, used only to prevent repeated abuse of the free trial. We do not collect, use, or link permanent device identifiers such as IMEI, IMSI, SIM serial numbers, or advertising IDs; uninstalling the app removes this identifier.
• Learning progress: stored mainly on your device (e.g. answer records); the server does not collect full learning history by default

3. Purposes

• Create and verify accounts, reset passwords, delete accounts
• Unlock / restore purchased course pack entitlements
• Provide customer support and prevent fraud
• Comply with legal obligations

4. Third parties

• Apple / Google: process in-app purchases
• ECPay: processes website payments
• Hosting and databases run on servers we operate (Taiwan)

We do not track users for advertising purposes and do not sell personal data.

5. Retention and deletion

Account data is deleted or anonymized after you close your account. Payment audit records may be retained (de-identified) for the period required by law. Choose either deletion method:

• In the app, open “Account → Delete account”; once confirmed, the account and related personal data are deleted.
• Email admin@jxdtw.com with the subject “Delete account” and your registered email; we complete the request within 7 business days.

Learning progress stored on your device is removed when you uninstall the app.

6. Security

Traffic uses HTTPS; passwords are stored as one-way hashes; payment keys are kept server-side only.

7. Data sharing

We share the data above only in the following cases, and we never sell personal data or provide it to third parties for advertising:

• Payment processing: Apple, Google, ECPay, limited to what is needed to complete the transaction and unlock entitlements.
• Legal requirements: lawful requests from courts or competent authorities, or where necessary to prevent fraud and protect rights.

8. Your rights

You may request access, correction, a copy, or deletion of your personal data, and may withdraw consent. Email admin@jxdtw.com and we will reply within 7 business days.

9. Children

This app targets adult learners preparing for professional certifications. It is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their personal data. If we learn of such collection, we delete it immediately.

10. Policy changes

If this policy changes, we update the “Last updated” date on this page; material changes are announced in the app or by email.
